The Other Film Festival is Australia’s first international disability film festival. Since 2004, it has become a leader in the global disability screen advocacy movement – championing Deaf and Disabled-led and authored work, uncovering untold stories and ways of being in the world, and developing a screen culture where Deaf and Disabled people are at the centre of storytelling – not marginalised, imitated, or spoken about.
