The Level Up Tasmania Video Game Showcase is a free weekend of events celebrating Tasmanian-made video games and game developers.
Play some of the 30 games on display, including unreleased gems, or chat to the developers about their games.
The showcase is held at PW1 (Princes Wharf No. 1) in Hobart across two days:
- Friday, 27 September 2024, 12:00 – 5:00 pm
- Saturday, 28 September 2024, 10:00 am – 3:00 pm.
Tickets are available for both days.
Special events
To help celebrate Tasmanian made games, there are some special events planned on the PW1 forecourt:
- Level Up After Dark – a professional E-Sports competition hosted by Down Tilt on Friday afternoon.
- The team from radio station Hit 100.9 will be hosting live from the event with giveaways on Saturday morning.
- The AFL Grand Final will be screened on the big screen on the PW1 forecourt Saturday afternoon.
People from UTAS, Bitlink and Tasmanian Game Makers will be in attendance to chat about starting out and working in the industry.
