Learn how to make an impact with your auditions, what McGregor Casting look for in an actor, and how to navigate the world of self tapes vs in room auditions! You will also get the chance to ask Will any question you want about the casting process, the industry, and acting. And we mean everything! ABOUT WILL: Will Pearce is a Casting Director living and working on Gadigal Land, Sydney. His casting career started in London, where he worked with some of the UK’s top casting directors. Will joined McGregor Casting in 2017 and has worked as an Associate on many local & international projects including: The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power, Babyteeth, Foe, Evil Dead Rise, The Unusual Suspects, Savage River, The Twelve, Apples Never Fall, The Wilds, Fisk & The Deb. As a Casting Director, Will’s credits include: The Twelve S3, Mother & Son S2, Mix Tape, Fisk S3 & The Role Of A Lifetime. He is particularly proud of the short film 14 in February which was nominated for Best Casting in a Short Film at the 2023 Casting Guild of Australia awards. Will was named a Rising Talent as a Casting Director for 2024 by IF Magazine & is an active member of The Casting Guild of Australia. WORKSHOP OUTCOMES: Deep understanding of the casting process, audition process, and tips on how to stand out in your next self tape or in-room audition 1-on-1 work with Stevie, including detailed feedback Connecting with your scene partner quickly in an audition scenario Age Limit: 18+ only.
