The Diploma of Screen and Media – Sports Media, will prepare you to be a broadcast specialist in this action-packed field. Learn interviewing and presenting skills for TV, radio, podcasting and vodcasting. Produce recorded and live-streamed programs, photograph and film sports games, Interview individuals and run panel discussions. Create radio and TV documentaries and write and edit for sports journalism. Be ready for an action-packed career in this dynamic field.
Upon successful course completion students will be issued with the award qualification title – CUA51020 Diploma of Screen and Media – or upon request an award with a specialisation title of Diploma of Screen and Media (Radio and Podcasting).
Your industry experience
A core component of the course is Work Integrated Learning, which may include internships with local AFL clubs, industry visits, and master classes with professionals from the sports media industry. Students will engage with industry partners as part of your assessments, and engage with the wider sports community.
