Box Office 24 October 2016 – which great films are box office flops?

The Dressmaker continues its modest foray into the US, although it is down to US$121,000 in its fifth weekend, now in 103 theatres. It peaked on its second weekend when it took US$365,856 off 159 cinemas. The total is US$1.6m, compared to US$14.4m in Australia. The Italians liked it to the tune of US$1.9m, and the Brits contributed a disappointing US$812,000.
