From the Toronto International Film Festival, Sue Armstrong and Brian Rosen have announced their biggest deal since Brian Rosen finished his tenure as head of the Australian Film Finance Corporation nearly a decade ago.

The Personal History of Rachel Dupree is based on the book by Ann Weisgarber about love, land ownership and drought through the eyes of a woman of colour in the American West at the start of the twentieth century. Winner of the Stephen Turner Prize for Best Work of First Fiction, this is a serious literary work.
