In an announcement from both Los Angeles and Sydney, Deluxe Australia has revealed it is leaving its post-production business which services Australian and international film and television productions.
The industry is losing the companies which provided the premix and final mix on Mad Max: Fury Road, serviced the dailies, online edit and colour grade on Gods Of Egypt, and the workflow design, quality assurance and final mix on The Lego Movie. On Truth, it provided all these services along with HD and DCP mastering and deliverables. Most recently, the company worked on Hacksaw Ridge and Lion. All these productions enabled Deluxe Australia to sustain a service and employ a local workforce.
