Box Office 3 April 2016 – Sherpa and The Daughter pulling audiences

The Daughter is set to pass Holding the Man some time this week. Meanwhile, Sherpa is working hard for Transmission.

Sherpa had its first standard commercial weekend, after sucking a lot of value out in special screenings to raise money for mountain charities.  With any luck, that decency will be rewarded with great word of mouth.

I saw the film for the second time, and it held up for me as a remarkable experience which touches my heart deeply. The group of tubby urbanistas I went with sat stunned at the end, and said it was fantastic.
