Box Office 29 March 2016 – Daughter holds up flag for serious local films

The Daughter is doing its arts heritage proud, fortunately far from the competition between tentpoles.

Sole Australian The Daughter is still doing comfortably with $934,000 in two weeks on that limited 55 screen release, nicely on $4,181/screen. Holding the Man opened at $241,000 on its first weekend and ultimately took $1.252m, so The Daughter is doing rather better.
