First the simple stuff. This is basically the craft night, and Fury Road, pumped up by ten years of planning and a substantial budget swept all before it. But the result is about vision rather than resources, and is a tribute to George Miller’s ability to construct an over-arching storyworld with the power to melt its way out of a titanium box.
