The Dressmaker has been released in the UK on 202 cinemas, at an average of US1775/theatre. That puts it at number seven on the box office board, with US$360,000 in the kitty.

In Australia it is doing $3000/screen on 300 screens and is now on $15.3m. It made $1.243m last weekend so it will hustle to make $20m but that is probably a bridge too far given the post Thanksgiving US stuff is moving round like a shark in a kiddypool.
