NFSA Restores: Classics back on the big screen

Classics deserve to be experienced on the big screen. The National Film and Sound Archive of Australia presents NFSA Restores – an exciting new project that will see a selection of Australia’s iconic and cult feature films digitally preserved, so they can be seen in today’s digital cinemas.

Working from the best available original picture and sound materials, from both the NFSA collection and around the world, restored titles will be seen and enjoyed again in all their original glory. 

The first three titles to receive the NFSA Restores treatment will premiere at this month’s Adelaide International Film Festival. They are:
