Mark Scott grabbed the opportunity of the inaugural Brian Johns memorial lecture to focus on the future of Australian television drama. It led him to one key policy initiative.

ABC Managing Director Mark Scott has called for the tax Offset on television production to be raised from twenty to forty percent, in line with the deal for feature films.
