Matthew Chuang, composed, neat of build, failed kung fu expert, child of a Taiwanese restaurant family, is quietly buildlng a career as director and cinematographer. 

On the way, he formed an association with Hugh Marchant, an under-appreciated art department worker, photographer, Photoshop dude and friend, who worked on The Road, The Proposition and Autoluminescent: Rowland S. Howard. But he has been around a lot longer than that, often working on commercials.
