It Follows is an American indie film which has become a microscopic but wonderful sensation in the cruel world of minority distribution. Made for US$2m, shot in the grunge of Detroit, it was directed by David Robert Mitchell, who made The Myth of the American Sleepover in 2010 which made all of US$40,000. This is an outsider production.
