The Babadook brings its particularly creepy artwork to the US - in a few, favoured locations.

Babadook has opened in the US. It has already taken just over US$2m in the UK, US$1.1m in France, and $362,000 in Thailand.

In the US itself? US$27,000 off three cinemas despite excellent reviews and strong support for genre in that market.
