Goalpost Pictures Australia is now deep in pre-production in Melbourne on Holding the Man, due to fire up the digital cameras for the first shooting day on Monday. Producer Kylie du Fresne is seriously busy woman.
The picture has the proverbially stellar cast in the veteran trio of Anthony LaPaglia, Guy Pearce and Kerry Fox. But they are but secondary roles around the inspiring young duo of Ryan Corr and Craig Stott. Corr has a profile in popular culture through Packed to the Rafters and Wolf Creek 2, with Russell Crowe’s Water Diviner set to add to the complexity of his image. Stott’s public impact comes from East of Everything and Geoffrey Wright’s Macbeth. He is now based in Los Angeles.
