After a very close ballot, the results are in: the winners of the MIFF People’s Choice Awards, presented by Foxtel Movies, are: Boyhood (Best Feature) and Jalanan (Best Documentary).
We are not all that surprised by your choice of Boyhood; Richard Linklater’s unprecedented, 12 years in the making, coming-of-age film was by far the most popular, most requested film we screened this year. It is a highly deserving winner.
