Vista Entertainment Solutions, the global leader in cinema exhibition software, is expanding into the wider film industry by acquiring a 25% stake in MACCS International, the global leader in film distribution software. Vista chief executive Murray Holdaway describes the arrangement, which includes an option for Vista to increase its stake to 50%, as the New Zealand-based company’s first move toward creating a unified global software solution for the film industry.
