Craig Lahiff died on Sunday February 2nd; he was a true individualist whose passion for genre took him from The Coming in 1980 to Swerve in 2011.

He died peacefully in hospital surrounded by family and friends and left two sons, Sean and Daland.

As a filmmaker he was enormously calm, pragmatic and organised, inspired by the wonders of style and craft. He was committed to low budget genre production, with honest verve and a powerful visual imagination. He enjoyed the pleasure of working with other writers.
