The Turning has started to break into the world festival circuit with an outing at the Berlin Film Festival in February.

The compendium film, shepherded by Robert Connolly and Maggie Miles based on the Tim Winton short stories and incorporating seventeen separate but linked teams of filmmakers, will appear out of competition in the Berlinale Special strand.

This is the international premiere. With a Berlin publicist, and LevelK as the international sales agent already tuned to Euro-sensibilities through its office in Copenhagen, expect this to be a v. jolly gala.
