Besides the wondrous mantra of co-production, the Canadian officials talked envelopes, digital media, significant government budgets, and confidence about the Americans. But, if the deal is just about the money, quit right now.

The Canadian delegation to Screen Forever emerged from a very conscious decision by the former SPAA to develop the relationship via a formal Memorandum of Understanding. As Matthew Deaner said in his chairing intro, there were three or four hundred million dollars on offer to the industry on the one panel.
