Tickets are currently on sale for Australia’s leading film and media awards for the education and industry sectors – the 2013 IPAF ATOM Awards Tertiary & Industry Awards Night.

The ATOM Awards have provided a crucial link between educators and the screen industry for over thirty years. In fact, they are the second–longest running film and media awards in Australia, after the AFI/AACTA Awards.

Past ATOM Award winners include: Adam Elliot (creator of Mary and Max and Harvie Krumpet), Working Dog Productions (Frontline), Blackfella Films (The Tall Man; Redfern Now) and Cordell Jigsaw (Go Back to Where You Came From).

This year’s Awards include four categories specifically for tertiary students, and seventeen general/open categories, which attract entries from Australia and New Zealand’s best media producers.

The Tertiary & Industry Awards Night is a great opportunity for emerging producers, directors, cinematographers, composers, songwriters, and game and multimedia producers to mingle with creative artists.

The evening will be hosted by RocKwiz impresario Brian Nankervis and includes live entertainment, drinks and finger food throughout the night.

WHEN: Thursday 28 November – doors open at 7pm
WHERE: Red Bennies, Level 1, 373 Chapel Street, South Yarra, Vic.

Tickets, which include food and drink, are $40 each. With just three weeks to go, they are selling fast. Don’t miss out!
