New research from the Intellectual Property Awareness Foundation has revealed that 76 percent of young people aged 12-17 have never downloaded illegal content, and that only 7 percent are persistent illegal downloaders.

The research, which has a margin of error of plus or minus 3 percent, surveyed 606 young people with a quantitative questionnaire, and 27 admitted pirates in an online focus group conducted over two weeks.
