Nine Entertainment Co has finalised its purchase of affiliate station from regional broadcaster WIN Corporation, and has appointed former Network Ten programmer David Mott, as managing director. At the same time, The Australian is reporting that shareholders have set the first fortnight in December for its re-listing on the Australian Securities Exchange.

According to News the US hedge funds Apollo and Oaktree chose December to take advantage of lower interest rates and strengthening global markets boost the ASX. Nine executives are reportedly meeting with possible local investors in Sydney this week about the float, which aims to raise between $800 million and $1.2 billion to pay down Nine’s debt and repay Apollo and Oaktree,
