Martin Butler and Bentley Dean’s Contact Films has picked up the Multimedia History Prize in the NSW Premier’s History Awards. First Foot Prints: Super Nomads, beat both Renegade Films’ Utopia Girls and Sydney Living Museums The Cook and the Curator: Eat Your History.
First Footprint a visually stunning four-part series, aired on the ABC in July. Butler and Dean are also responsible for the equally award-winning feature documentary Contact.
