A new report from research firm IBISWorld warns of a 3.1 per cent decline in film and television distribution revenues in 2013-14, but Beyond International’s managing director, Mikael Borglund, argues that the decline in DVD sales is almost entirely in feature film, while niche distributors are still in good condition.

Beyond’s annual report put the decline in the DVD market for 2012-13 at 8 per cent, however he told ScreenHub that almost all of that decline was in feature film sales.
