Seven by 3% as Auntie continues to celebrate Upper Middle Bogan and a bit of oomph on Thursday.

Nine’s victory came from the slower and steadier Fatprog approach: Big Brother – 7pm, 756,000; followed by – 8.30, 866,000 until 10.30. [We don’t know how that audience fell off through the evening].

Seven won the 7pm with Home and Away – 938,000, of course; then crashed into the last half hour of Big Brother with Dynamo: Mission Impossible – 968,000. BUT half an hour into The Footy Show it fails to flog it to a standstill with Please Marry My Boy, on 491,000. By 10.00 it has hidden Formal Wars on 361,000, which would do better earlier. But by how much?
