The release of a 3D version of The Wizard of Oz by Warner Bros to mark the 75th anniversary of the film could be a sweet moment of cosmic justice for a small Australian distributor.

Mark Spratt and Chapel Distribution are a legendary outfit which maintains a library of 35, 16 and 70mm films to which it has the distribution rights. Via a deal with Hollywood Classics, which exploits the rights to old American product internationally, he is able to sustain the hunger for cinematic history.
