When Mark Hartley’s exuberant documentary celebration of Ozploitation films, Not Quite Hollywood, burst onto screens as opening night film at the 2008 Melbourne International Film Festival, he was already dreaming and planning about making Patrick, his first fiction feature, which is having its international premiere at this year’s MIFF on the 27th July.
