As the tents are struck and the luxury yachts are hosed out, Julie Marlow talks deals, flicks and a rough guide to the Cannes ecosystem.

It’s all over bar the shouting here in Cannes, with the main prizes in Competition yet to come tomorrow night at the closing ceremony at the Palais. I’ve had a bet on Abdellatif Kechiche’s film Blue Is The Warmest Colour to win, with two bob each way on Hirokazu Kore-eda’s film Like Father, Like Son.
