Warp Factor None is the salutary tale of science fiction film and television writing in Australia, and is basically about a vague cultural mystery resolved at the moment by a sense of hope. Just why did we treat imagination like a plague from the end times, again?

The session was dominated by the two Shanes, Armstrong and Krause, the writing team behind the K9 series, Acolytes, and the “financing draft” of Bait 3D. They were supported by transplanted American Naomi Jantzen who worked on Andromeda, and Anthony Morris, who has done a lot of kids’ science fiction.
