Los Angeles, Calif. (February 12, 2013) – Los Angeles-based Australians in Film (AiF), today announced that applications are now open for the fifth annual AiF HEATH LEDGER SCHOLARSHIP (HLS). The Scholarship is open to any emerging Australian actor to further their career and training in the US and provides over $20,000 in prizes for the winner.
For the 2013 Scholarship, Kim Ledger, Heath’s father, has agreed to assume the role of Patron of the Scholarship to provide strategic oversight. In addition, $5000 worth of visa and immigration services has been added to the winners prize package.
