Pretty minor gains for projects we can badge to Australia. The one completely local film is on at precisely one cinema.

Ben Lewin’s proto-Australian production of The Sessions is doing its limited release best, having now made $1,155,644 in six weeks. Now down from 52 to 41 screens, it is taking $931/screen.

Around the world it has taken $6,212,529, opened on nearly $US30,000/theatre, and has scored almost a million outside the US. Clearly the Australian figure has not been added properly. The total is probably more like $7m, with no European figures yet.
