Top of the Lake, the Campion series executive produced by Emile Sherman and Iain Canning, is to screen in full at Sundance. It will be joined by Two Mothers, a French-Australian co-production with Hopscotch Films and Troy Lum.

The Australian badge is looking pretty unlocal with both these shows. While Top… has Australian agency money, a writer from Brisbane and a production company co-owned in Australia and the UK, it is anchored by a BBC sale, and we suspect it expresses Campion’s realistic love affair with her native land.
