Adrianne Pecotic, CEO of the Independent Cinemas Association of Australia (ICAA), told ScreenHub that the association has the minimum number of screens required to proceed with a Virtual Print Fee (VPF) scheme for Australian and New Zealand independent cinema operators.

Speculation had been rife in the industry that the Virtual Print Fee agreements were being held up, with neither of the two competing VPF schemes – ICAA and Edge Digital – having the minimum number of screens to proceed. Both were rumoured to be waiting on a decision by Reading Cinemas to reach the minimum number of screens.
