Ovation, the original arts and entertainment channel on Foxtel, has announced another smart TV deal, this time with Panasonic’s VIERA Connect platform. Since being axed by Foxtel in favour of SBS back in 2010, it is fair to say that Ovation’s managing director, Gerry Travers, has redefined the term “bloody-minded determination”.
Panasonic’s announcement today that Ovation Channel would be available through its VIERA Connect platform is only the last in a string of deals that have kept Ovation from oblivion.
