After the Henderson committee appointed by the O’Farrell government to review the awards, the government received the report, never made it public, and transferred it from Arts NSW to the State Library of NSW. Nominations for 2013 close on 28th November.

With the delay caused by the review, the May nominations are only announced now, with another round due out next May. The screen nominations must be produced; the 2013 noms started in October 2011, so the dates for these productions must predate this. Don’t say old, say mature.
