Twenty-one features have been submitted for consideration in the Animated Feature Film category for the 85th Academy Awards.
Several have yet to satisfy the Los Angeles theatrical screening requirement, and have until 31 December to do so.
Among the titles submitted is Studio Ghibli’s From Up On Poppy Hill, currently screening here in Madman’s Reel Animé festival. Also on the list is Adventures in Zambezia from South African studio Triggerfish, whose CEO Stuart Forrest is a presenter at Animfx next week.
