Brisbane: The Asia Pacific Screen Awards (APSA) today unveiled the final two filmmakers who complete the APSA International Jury – Indian writer, director, editor and producer Leena Yadav and from Georgia writer, producer, director and European Film Academy member George Ovashvili.
Ms Yadav and Mr Ovashvili join APSA International Jury President, Australian producer Jan Chapman and previously announced members of the six person International Jury, Professor of Directing Department of the prestigious Beijing Film Academy and the President of China International Children’s Film Festival, Professor Hou Keming (People’s Republic of China); one of the most prolific and highly respected actors working in Israeli cinema Sasson Gabbay (Israel); and APSA winning producer Zeynep Özbatur Atakan (Turkey) whose recent credits include the award-winning Once Upon A Time in Anatolia, Three Monkeys and Climates, all directed by Nuri Bilge Ceylan.
