The PIX240 is both Mac AND Windows compatible so you can spend less time converting and more time perfecting.
The recorder functions well as an isolated recorder OR a production monitor and offers powerful, hardware-based video scalers. Realtime conversion among video formats (including 1080i, 1080p, and 720p) can be set from the menu. Conversion between interlaced and progressive, as well as frame rate conversion is available in realtime, with no loss in quality.
The PIX does not disappoint in capturing audio with a two-channel, line level balanced output on 5-pin XLR, with low-noise (-128 dBu equivalent input noise), high-bandwidth inputs are mic/line switchable and include limiters, high-pass filters, and 48V phantom power.
