Following a successful initiative throughout 2011 to increase the number of exclusive releases screened, Cinema Nova is proud to unveil many high-profile titles, exclusive to the venue that will premiere at the iconic Carlton arthouse in 2012.

Nova patrons have already enjoyed a series of exclusives during the first three months of the year including Tom Haigh’s same-sex romance Weekend; the original Japanese language version of Studio Ghibli’s animated adventure Arrietty; the Dardenne brothers’ multi-award-winning drama The Kid With A Bike; “cancer comedy” 50/50, starring Joseph-Gordon Levitt and Seth Rogen; gritty English drama Tyrannosaur; documentary Jiro Dreams Of Sushi focusing on the greatest sushi chef in the world; and acclaimed French drama Tomboy, about a young girl’s coming-of-age.
