AFCA Announces 2012 Film Award Winners (A bit like the Oscars, minus the glitz & glamour…!) Although it might be somewhat overshadowed by a slightly bigger Film Awards Ceremony that’s just taken place on the other side of the world, the Australian Film Critics Association (AFCA) is delighted to announce the winners of its 2012 Film Awards.
Local thriller, Snowtown, continued its critical winning streak, taking top honours in four major categories including Best Australian Film, Best Actor, Best Director and Best Screenplay.
