Screen Australia today announced almost $133,000 in support for four short film productions through its Short Film Completion Fund. The films are in various stages of post-production and this support will ensure the projects are completed to a high standard ready to be launched on the world festival stage.

Among the projects is writer and director Sophie Miller’s poignant film Spine, starring Snowtown’s Lucas Pittaway, which depicts a dramatic event that brings acceptance to someone who has recently become a paraplegic. Spine is being produced by Sheila Jayadev with executive producer Prue Williams.
