Distribution, Exhibition & International Sales
Back by popular demand, this is an essential workshop for all filmmakers. Industry expert Tait Brady demystifies and provides keen insights into cinema exhibition, international sales and the Australian distribution business.

By the end of the course you will have gained an understanding of:

  • Producer-Distributor / Producer-Sales Agent relationships
  • Distribution contracts, commissions and what they really mean
  • How to deliver and support your film and what materials are required
  • The cinema release platform and why it is still so important
  • The relationship between the distributor and the exhibitor
  • How to interpret the Australian weekly Box-office chart and a P&A budget
  • The requirements of a Sales Agent and how to choose the best one for your project
  • Tait Brady is a former Film Distributor, Festival Director and FFC Evaluation Manager.
