The 60-second trailer for new teen webseries ‘Third Base’, which is set on a Mars research station, has debuted online. The series is competing for a $100k production budget in the Movie Extra WebFest.
Filmed in a single day with a micro-crew of six people, the series follows 17 year old Riley Cole as he’s forced to relocate to Mars’ Third Base. Winning the $100,000 production prize would enable the ‘Third Base’ team to turn the trailer into a full web series of seven three-minute episodes.
