An important message from the AFI | AACTA CEO: It is with great pleasure that I write to update you on a series of major announcements regarding the Inaugural Samsung AACTA Awards.
When the AFI launched AACTA in August 2011, with broad-based and very encouraging support from the industry and from the public, one of our stated aims was to increase the profile of our industry and the talented performers and practitioners who work within it. We believe that by creating greater recognition of our industry, we are creating more opportunities for our productions and screen professionals, both in Australia and abroad.
