The Screen Producers Association of Australia (SPAA) has confirmed that Lucy Fisher – one of the leading studio executives from Hollywood, including stints at 20th Century Fox, Warner Bros and Sony Pictures – and Douglas Wick – founder of Red Wagon Entertainment, which has been responsible for producing Gladiator among many other films and has garnered over 20 Oscar nominations – will be guests at the 2011 Conference.
As producing partners on The Great Gatsby, alongside Baz Luhrmann, Catherine Martin and Catherine Knapman, and executive producer Barrie Osborne, Lucy and Doug are currently in Australia and have agreed to join Su Armstrong in an ‘on the couch’ session on Wednesday 16 November at the Hilton in Sydney.
