Village Cinemas is celebrating success by virtue of its recent award win for Rivoli Cinemas as Best Multiplex, as awarded by the Australian Independent Distributors Association (AIDA).
Beating out an esteemed field of other Multiplex cinemas across the country to take out the title, the award was accepted on August 22 by Village Cinemas General Manager of Programming, Gino Munari. 2011 marks the second occasion Rivoli Cinemas has won this award, also named at Best Multiplex in 2007.
