The State Government today announced $1.5million in funding to support ‘Drift’, a feature film set in the 1970s at the advent of the modern surf industry in Western Australia.

Principal photography on the film, which stars Sam Worthington (international star of blockbusters ‘Avatar’ and ‘Clash of the Titans’) and Myles Pollard (‘McLeod’s Daughters’, ‘X-Men Origins: Wolverine’), will start in the South-West this year.
